SJ Wins Nordic Open
16-9-08
Sarah-Jane won a
thrilling final against Kimberley Hay, (who had spent a week training with
us this summer), in Norway this weekend. Coming from 2-0 down, and 6-1 down
in the 5th, Sarah-Jane kept her composure to win 9-11, 8-11, 11-6, 11-8,
11-8 (3-2). Well done SJ! |

Ryder planning French
Raid 5-9-08 Chris Ryder plans to make up for his disappointing far East tour, where he lost to world #8 Wael El Hindi, and NZ's Campbell Grayson, by making an attempt to qualify in The French International Open later this month. |

Fuller Selected for England
Assault Chris Fuller is almost back to fitness, having had a horror ankle injury just days before he was supposed to fly to Switzerland with the England Team. We wish him all the best with his recovery, and look forward to seeing him on court in the next couple of weeks |

Ryder to take on El Hindi 9-7-08
Chris Ryder has been
drawn against Egyptian Wael El Hindi in the Malaysian Open. Following this
tournament, he will travel onto Western Austrailia, as second seed behind
British Open Champion, David Palmer. |

Fuller Selected for England
Assault
29-5-08 Chris has got the call up to represent England at this year's World Junior Men's Championship in Switzerland. He had this to say "I'm really happy, has been the goal for the season so obviusly delighted to have come some way to achieving it. Really looking forward to representing England again and hopefully after a prolonged period of good training having a really good go at both the individual and the team title."

Kenilworth lose 4-1 to
Pontefract in National Final 14-5-08 SJ was the only winner in the Kenilworth side as she beat beat Grace Smith comfortably 3-0. Chris struggled against the ultra consistent Neil Cordell and it was a frustrating day for Chris as he toiled hard, but failed to win again. It was a similar story for the rest of the team, with Guy and Chloe Pearson and Tom Perry all also going down 3-0.
